In her home, Lorene was born December 9, 1918, in Ward Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Frank and Emma (Tepley) Gaffke.  She was raised in the country, where she attended many different country schools, as her family moved often.  She graduated from the 8th grade.  Lorene married Joseph Jambor on November 7, 1939, in Motley.  As husband and wife, they farmed in Moran Township for 7 years, and then in Ward Township until retirement, in 1977.  At this time, they made their home just North of Horseshoe Lake.   They enjoyed the country life.  Lorene was a good cook.  To many, her kitchen was known as Reenie’s Supper Club.  Loren loved gardening and flowers.  She’d take time to treasure all of God’s creations.  She enjoyed dancing, fishing, playing cards, visiting, some embroidering and sewing.  She loved her family and friends.  Lorene was a member of Christ the King Church in Browerville.  All who were blessed to know her gentle spirit will miss her dearly.
