Vincent “George” Paulson, age 90, of Browerville, passed away on March 28, 2009 at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home.  Funeral Mass for Vincent will be on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10 a.m., in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Long Prairie with Father Adam Portugal the celebrant.  Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Browerville.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.

George was born February 9, 1919 at Duluth, Minnesota the son of George and Lucy (Knight) Paulson.  He grew up and attended school in Duluth.  George lived in various areas of the country and moved to Browerville in 1993.  He was a great supporter of the Sisters of the Society of Saint Pius X. 

He is survived by his children, Barbara Krouse, John Paulson, Kathleen Paulson, Mark Paulson, Donna Nielsen, Patty Paulson and Douglas Paulson; brother and sisters, Patricia Marston, Paul Paulson and Dorothy Kitching; George is also survived many grandchildren and great-children.

George was preceded in death by his parents; five children, Thomas, Timothy, Richard and Daniel Paulson and Sandra Duke; brother, Joseph Paulson and sister, Mary Wolfe.
