Gloria Freitag, 60, of Eagle Bend, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2009, at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home.  Funeral services for Gloria were held on Saturday, January 10, 2008, 1 p.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville with Pastor Josh Doughty officiating. 

Gloria was born on May 11, 1948 to William & Erma (Vervalen) Lemke.  She graduated from the Long Prairie High School.  Gloria enjoyed flower gardening, camping, fishing and taking care of her cats.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Gloria is survived by her husband Steve of Eagle Bend, children:  Shelly (Tom) Jarl of Annandale, Craig “Dickie” Carry of Eagle Bend, Chad Carry of Eagle Bend, Stacy Carry of Melrose, Chanda Carry of Eagle Bend, Shane (Savannah) Freitag of Little Falls, Shanna Jenkins of Rice, sister, Lynn (Brad) Kamphenkel of Duluth, brother, Rick (Cindy) Lemke of Browerville, and 8 grandchildren.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents.
