Barbara Harlow, 51, of Long Prairie, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the Long Prairie Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services for Barb will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 11 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarissa with Fr. David Maciej officiating.  Friends may call on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 4-8 p.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Clarissa and on the day of the service beginning 1 hour prior to the service at the church. 

Barb was born on September 30, 1957, in Browerville, to Donald & Bernice (Bushard) Bergstrom.  In 1987 Barb married Mike Harlow.  Barb enjoyed horses, gardening, playing piano, the outdoors and especially going on the road with Mike.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarissa.

Barb is survived by her husband Mike of Long Prairie, daughters:  Brenda Krause of St. Cloud and Liberty Harlow of Frazee, 4 grandchildren:  Natalie, Alyssa, Kaitlin and Kylee, siblings:  John (Julie) Bergstrom of Paynesville, Janet Johnson of South Dakota, Carla Sederstrom of Montana and Mike Bergstrom of Montana. 

Barb is preceded in death by her parents, brother Daniel, niece, Jennifer Bergstrom and sister in law, Cecilia Bergstrom.
