Agnes Woge, 97, of Clarissa, passed away on March 5, 2007 at the Central Todd County Care Center. Funeral services for Agnes were held on Friday, March 9, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Clarissa with Rev. Hollis Bishop officiating. Interment was at Woodman Cemetery in Clarissa.
Agnes was born on September 29, 1909 in Hartford Township, Todd County to Charles and Anne (Cline) Sadlo. She married Melvin Woge on November 14, 1928 in rural Clarissa. Melvin died on July 8, 1972. Agnes remained on the farm until August 2000. She enjoyed her yard work and gardening, especially her beautiful flower gardens. Agnes was active in the church, Senior Center, Garden Club, Homemakers and the Kitchen Klatter Band. From the farm she went into an apartment in Eagle Bend for one year then to the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa.
Agnes is survived by her son Harold (Lorraine) Woge of Eagle Bend, sister, Rose Tepley of Clarissa, grandchildren: Sandy (Doug) Schmidt of Long Prairie, Julie (Gene) Larson of Owatonna, Steve of Clarissa, Karen (Greg) Snethen of Rogers, step-grandchildren: Bruce (Kim) Moller of Eagle Bend, Janet (Mark) Nauman of Iowa, Ron (Sue) Moller of Long Prairie, Chuck (Kris) Moller of Arizona, Roger (Karen) Moller of Eveleth, 8 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin, siblings: Helen, Elizabeth, Elmer and George.
